There's no doubt about it: the rainbow cake is magical. I know this because there's a recipe for it in my book, CakeSpy Presents Sweet Treats for a Sugar-Filled Life...and it is one of the most popular and most frequently-requested recipes.

But here's the thing that I want to tell you. This cake is really, truly magic.
