Book of the week: Maida Heatter's Cookies. This book should be considered a classic, but a lot of people don't even know about it! Well, I am trying to change that. I just love Maida Heatter's witty headnotes, and I love how she assumes some knowledge but also explains things well. And the cookie collection in this book is comprehensive: over 225 recipes. Please, if you don't own this book, check it out!
