Book of the week: Donuts: An American Passion by John T. Edge. This is one of my favorite books, not just about donuts, but about culture. You'll learn a lot about the history of donuts in America here (for instance: why are donuts so "married" with coffee? Did you know that donuts have a deep connection with the Salvation Army?), and it's pretty interesting!
